If you were around in the '90s then chances are you're well familiar with the semi-dysfunctional Sheffield family and their wisecrack of a British butler, Niles.
After the finale hit our screens in 1999, things wrapped up with Fran Fine (AKA the Nanny) married to her boss, Mr. Sheffield, and Niles happily together with Sheffield's colleague C.C.
It's been off our screens for near 17 years now, so it's fine for those of you who need a refresher - but C.C and Niles hated each other.
And apparently, Daniel Davis, who played the quick-witted butler, never understood why that relationship came to be.
Speaking to News.com.au, the 70-year-old revealed,
"That's the only part that I never really bought, to tell you the truth.
"I didn't buy that we would end up married. But I had to play it because that's what they wrote...
"The only reason I thought it could have worked would be if they were planning a spin-off, like 'The Niles and C.C. Show', which I would have loved, but they didn't go with that idea.
"I guess they were just wanting to tie up loose ends."
