The first Voice coach for The Voice Australia 2017 has been announced and we couldn’t be happier!!
The one and only Delta Goodrem has been confirmed that she will return to the hit Channel 9 show.
Okay, well it’s not official, but she basically couldn’t hint at something more.
Delta revealed to The Daily Telegraph, “I’ve been a part of the show since its inception, I really feel like part of the family there and the crew are part of my family. I love our show. I’ve really loved growing the show. I’m sure I’ll continue the journey together next year.”
2016 was a massive year for Team Delta when Alfie Arcuri took the crown!
Delta added, “I’m keen to hold my title, we won this year.”
It has been confirmed that The Madden Brothers and Jessie J won't be returning next year.
It’s also rumoured that Ronan Keating won’t be back either. This means that Delta will be the only coach left from the beginning of the Australian series.
The exits of the other coaches will also leave the door open for fan fave Ricky Martin to hopefully make a come back…
Other coaches rumoured to join the show are The Veronicas, after they stood in for The Maddens for one episode earlier this year and they totally killed it!
Other hopefuls are Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Niall Horan, Lenny Kravitz and Daryl Braithwaite. But of course all of these are rumours.
Delta also revealed, “I’d be exciting to see some new additions… I’d welcome the excitement of some new artists to the panel. I’m very happy to fly the Aussie flag, I’m very thankful to The Voice.”
Bring on 2017.
