We don’t want to alarm anyone but ‘Stranger Things’ has just been confirmed for a 2nd season and we don’t know how to handle our feelings.

Yes, you heard right. Netflix has delivered the goods once again after teaming up with 21 Laps and we WILL have a second season of 'Stranger Things.'

Stranger Things’ left a special print in our hearts, in the first installment of eight episodes we saw Joyce Byers played by Winona Ryder as a single mother who basically deserved a mother of the year award after her youngest son, Will (Noah Schnapp), went missing.

His disappearance and the appearance of a random yet kinda creepy girl, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) set off the events of the sci-fi series that literally had everyone hooked.

Season 2 is set to air in 2017, it will have nine episodes and will be based in 1984… and don’t stress it will just be as epic as the first season, writers and creators Matt and Ross Duffer will return. THANK YOU!

Executive Producers Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and the Duffer Brothers will all return for the second season.

They have revealed that the second season will also include four new characters and "interesting dynamics."

Ahhh we can’t wait.
