An original artist behind Rugrats has become fed up of all the interpretations from other artists and has drawn what he believes the characters would actually look like today.
Eric Molinsky, and original artist for the hit 90s cartoon Rugrats, has grown sick and tired of other artists claiming that the characters would've grown up to become hipsters.
"It really bugs me - not the quality of the artwork, but the interpretation. We referred to them as lumpy babies for a reason. If we ever drew the Rugrats as being too cute, our executive producer would scold us."
So THIS is how the "lumpy babies" would look today, all grown up.
"So no. The Rugrats did not all grow up to be fashion models or self-confident hipsters. Especially not Chuckie. They probably grew up to be average if not slightly lumpy looking people - just like their parents," he added.
There you have it. If you ever layed awake at night imagining what your favourite childhood characters looked like now... You were probably wrong.
