New evidence in the JonBenet Ramsey murder case has been uncovered for the first time since 1993.

The Boulder Daily Camera and 9News have received DNA test results that forensic experts found when examining the beauty queen's body.

The DNA samples were taken from JonBenet's underwear and long johns and previously, it was believed that it was the DNA of only one person, but it has now been revealed that it, in fact, belonged to two people.

The Boulder Daily Camera have also discovered documents that Mary Lacy, the Ramsey family lawyer, had received in 2008 when she was defending them against murder allegations.

The documents outlined the full DNA test results but were never mentioned during the defense trial.

Although the new evidence may seem incriminating, experts have said that it is still undetermined as to whether or not the Ramsey family were involved in JonBenet's murder.

The new evidence, however, will be instrumental in the following investigations.
