During yet another emotional episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Kris Smith revealed the moment he met his wife and the moment he left her.

Speaking in front of his campmates and cameras, the model and former UK Rugby League player said leaving Dannii when they had a (now 6-year-old) son “absolutely ripped my heart out”

“It got to a point where Dannii and I - it wasn't working for anyone. We didn't wanna get in silly bickering arguments in front of Ethan. So the hardest thing I've had to do was leave.

“He was very young but I didn't ever wanna see him in an environment where it's a little bit bitter or argumentative.

“It was nothing I wanted. All I ever wanted in my life was to settle down with one woman and have kids with one woman. I was 32 when Ethan was born.

“Yeah, it absolutely ripped my heart out but it was for the best.”

Kris also talked about his chance meeting with Dannii and honestly it sounds like a movie!

He was celebrating his 30th birthday at a club in Ibiza when Dannii asked her security guard to bring him over.

“They dragged me on the dance floor, and I'm telling you I have some of the best moves.

“I ripped the dance floor up and I turn around and see a woman, she's in the VIP area. She's looking at me and I go, ‘Oh, nice.’”

This is when the big security guard came over, “He said, ‘What's your name?’ I asked why. He said, ‘Dannii wants to meet you.’ Now she’s the mother of my child.”

From then on, the two didn’t want their holiday romance to end.

“She said, 'I want you to stay a few more days'.

“I said, "I'd love to. I can't afford it'.

This is when the cuteness level gets taken up a notch.

“I told mates I was on holiday with. A mate, Steve, came up [with] an envelope, a birthday card.

“He'd bought me a new ticket home and enough to stay there. Without him, none of that happens.”

This just makes us sadder now that their marriage didn’t work out.
