In case you needed another a reason to love Australian discount retailer Kmart, here's one that will have you sold for life.
They have just released one of the most groundbreaking and historic television advertisements to hit our screens.
The ad looks like what you would normally expect from a Kmart advert, a colourful, cheerful advertisement for predominantly children's items. Involved in the ad is a bunch of cute kids jumping around and playing with the store's products... pretty stock standard right?
However, if you look closely you will see that one of the little cuties jumping around is toddler Josee Kelly who suffers from down syndrome and she is just about the best thing in the whole ad!
Bouncing around the screen in a pink swan costume, she makes a powerful appearance on TV. Jolie Kelly, who is Josee's mother spoke to news.com.au about her daughter's historical appearance.
"Josee loves the (Kmart) advert. She’s nearly four and if she sees a little girl in an advert with Down syndrome she will point and say to us ‘Josee!"
Josee was the winner of the 2015 People's Choice Award in the Bond's Baby Search Competition and it isn't hard to see why. She is just gorgeous and we are so happy that a huge powerhouse like Kmart is recognising such amazing individuals such as Josee and we look forward to seeing more of her.
