Game Of Thrones has officially cast its first new actor for the upcoming seventh season and he's a memorable Harry Potter character!
We all had trouble surviving the winter this year. Obvs because Game Of Thrones has left us with a huge gaping hole in our lives, considering how long we have to wait for the new season!
Back to business! We've been delievered a new tid bit of news to help us get through our long as hell wait, and it's pretty darn good! A) because our GOT cravings are slightly curbed, and B) it's a well-known Harry Potter character!
Oscar winning actor Jim Broadbent, aka Professor Slughorn, is joining the GOT world in a 'significant' new role!
The news was broken to EW, but there's still no definitive answers on exactly who he'll be playing.
The theory wheel is turning and fans are already hinting that he could quite possible play the yet-unseen Maester Marwyn who is described in the A Feast for Crows as "short and squat with enormous hands, a thick chest and a hard ale-belly. He has white hair coming out of his nose and ears. His nose has been broken more than once and his teeth are stained red."
We can't wait to see Jim in the Game Of Thrones world!
