For most of us that have grown up basing our 20's on what we saw throughout the 10 years of Friends and the friendship of the fab six then this may just break your heart a little bit!
We all know that the real dream team couple of the series that gave us serious #lovegoals was Phoebe and Mike... Sorry Ross and Rachel! If you didn't shed a tear at the best wedding of the whole series when they married in the freezing cold at the very end of season 10 then you don't really deserve to call yourself a real fan!
However, you may want to hold your breath for this one as apparently that ACTUALLY isn't what was planned for the 'Hannigan-Buffets'...
Hank Azaria, whose character David got caught up in the middle of a love triangle with the two, revealed to the Huffington Post that the producers of the show's intention the whole time was for David and Phoebe to end up together when he returned home from his infamous trip to Minsk!
"No, I didn’t know that was the end of David, the plan always was kind of to bring him back."
"I think, honestly, what happened was Paul Rudd is so awesome that they sort of found a groove with him and [my character] became more of just the grist for that mill as opposed to the other way around."
Talk about a bombshell! We can't imagine the series ending any other way for the happy couple and no offence to Hank but we are sure glad David stayed in Minsk!
