Apple may be propelling us right into the future with the latest rumours which are going to make touch ID look so ten years ago…
In an age where we all have our eyes glued to our phone screens and some of us are obsessed with catching imaginary creatures with said phones like it’s a legit job, you’d think we’re way beyond our years when it comes to technology.
But the latest rumours to circle the world about Apple’s 2018 iPhone (yep, forget all about iPhone 7) have shot us back into the future just like Marty McFly.
Why? Because the latest reports have leaked that the 2018 model could feature biometric technology… which means you can unlock your phone by scanning your eyes.
Goodbye touch ID, hello to technology which will achieve all our childhood spy dreams!
According to Digitimes, Samsung is expected to be the first to release a smartphone supporting biometric recognition, followed by a roll out fromApple in 2018 with iPhones featuring iris sensors.
The sensors would function by scanning our irises, which are the coloured parts around our pupils, because each and every person has ones unique to themselves – just like fingerprints!
One source, 9to5Mac, even suggested the new model will feature facial recognition technology and wireless charging at long-ranges!
The future is looking pretty darn bright!
