Sometimes an App comes into our lives that always puts a smile on our face every time we tap our screens to enter the world of possibilities it has in store for us.

Sadly, for some of you, you're going to have to say goodbye to one of those Apps that's always there for you, because it is shutting down for damn good.

Prepare yourselves.

For years, three to be exact, Vine has been delivering us with funny AF mini videos to laugh over and share with our mates.

But now Twitter, the company who owns the app, is pulling the plug on Vine over the coming months after plans to make cuts across-the-board and lay off 9 percent of its workforce...

Vine users and lovers are having a hard time digesting the news after the countless laughs they've been blessed with thanks to the app, but Vine is assuring us all that the change will not be a sudden, heartbreaking one.

"Nothing is happening to the apps, website or your vines today. We value you, your Vines, and are going to do this the right way," the company revealed on Medium

The website will be kept online for now and we will all be notified before changes are made.

The company obviously wants to prepare us for Vine's passing gradually...
