Apple has unveiled a stack of new products at their event launch overnight, including two new smartphones - the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
Aussie tech expert Trevor Long was in San Francisco for the announcement and said there's a lot of cool new additions.
"This phone is water and dust resistant, no big dramas if you drop this one in the pool, but don't leave it there," he said.
One big change is the loss of the headphone jack, as expected, Long said using the lightning port for audio will probably be the most controversial new feature.
"People don't like change. In fact, Apple said they "showed courage" in getting rid of that jack, because analog has been around for a long time.
Using the lightning port at the bottom is digital, you get better quality audio, plus it makes the device slightly thinner, slightly lighter and actually puts more power into the speaker system of the phone."
"So sitting the phone on a table and listening to audio, it's a very impressive quality now."
If you're not keen on the lightning port, you could purchase the new wireless Apple Air Pods. They'll set you back an extra $200-odd.
The 7 Plus model also features a dual lens camera.
"Apple made no mistake of saying this is the best camera in any smartphone, which is a big call," Long said.
"Because there's the option of having 2 lenses, you can have your standard photo and actually have a zoom built in, that means you're going to get much greater photos."
"Apple will be ahead of the rest because of this feature, it will probably get a lot of attention."
A new Apple Watch was also revealed, the Series 2 which is also water resistant, one of the biggest features is the addition of the Pokemon Go app.
The tech giant's also bringing Super Mario to the app store, it's the first time ever Apple has collaborated with the Nintendo classic.
If you're keen to get your hands on any of these new products, pre-orders start at 5:01pm tomorrow afternoon (Friday 9th Sept).
Long said it's probably not worth buying the 7 models if you've currently got an iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
"Anything before a 6, an iPhone 5, 5s or 4, you will be blown away by the power of these devices."
"But remember, Apple releases brand new phones every single year, it's only going to get better."
