So you may have thought you had seen everything when it came to nail trends -crystal nails, metallic nails and even nail countouring! Well say hello to the most outrageous yet... succulent nails!
When it comes to creative nail trends, Aussie artist Roz Borg is definitely in a league of her own. Combining floral desgins, her love of horticulture and 3D embellishment talents, Roz has definitely managed to find her own creative niche in the nail world.
She literally gives herself a green thumb as she glues plants onto her very own nails! This is definitely not a trend for the faint hearted or time poor, but she has definitely turned heads with her inventive designs.
Speaking to the Huffington Post she laughs that it may not be a trend everyone will get around
“People are stunned when they realize it’s real live plants, not 3D sculpting. Some people are grossed out, but most love it!”
How is it done? She uses a floral adhesive called Oasis, after already applying the succulents to an artificial nail she then attaches them to her hands. The entire process takes an hour per hand.
"The Oasis glue eventually releases and I can plant the baby succulents and they can grow happily."
All you plant lovers out there, your nail prayers have been answered!
