Everyone has dreamed about the day they meet THE one and of the amazing wedding they long for.
Love is life. But food is also love and life, right?
Well, there’s a new engagement trend taking over the internet that combines love and food, and it is simply amazing.
Luke Munsterteiger, a man who decided to take things to the next level with his girlfriend (now-fiancée) Else Schmit, decided to completely change how proposals are done with a unique idea you’ll all fall in love with.
Else and Luke are ice cream and gelato lovers, like us all, and often split whole tubs of Talenti gelato between them in one sitting.
Considering how much of a cute bonding experience their fave gelato-eating past time is, Luke decided to contact the company Talenti and surprise Else with the gift of her dreams…
Talenti customised the label for Luke, so when the couple went to the grocery store one afternoon and came back with their usual gelato order, Luke “snuck into [the customised tub] into the store under my coat and then placed it toward the back, hoping no one would take it by mistake.”
Luke spilled the details to Delish, saying that he then suggested to Else that they should grab some ice cream and steered her in the direction of the hidden tub.
Else explained that, “He opened the freezer door and pointed to one but I couldn’t see the label, so I was totally oblivious. As I picked it up and read it I couldn’t believe it – there was no way!”
Luke had even included their signature emoji message on the label: love times infinity!
We’re not sure about the idea of being proposed to in a grocery store, but this is such a cute idea!
Plus, this would definitely be an ice cream flavour we all love…
