This is probably the best news we've heard all day.
Delta Goodrem, musical genius and all round angel, is going to be playing a national treasure in a brand new television mini-series.
The singer will play Olivia Newton-John in a docu-series about her life for Channel Seven.
We all know Olivia portrayed Sandy in Grease and made us all get 'Physical' in the 80's, so how awesome would it be to see Delta rock a poodle skirt and some neon tights?
The show is supposed to start shooting next week and air next year, so soon we will all know about the icon's upbringing in South Yarra and how she skyrocketed to super stardom.
"Celebrating how a nice girl can finish first, the story of Olivia Newton-John charts her trailblazing personal, musical and uniquely female journey through one of the world’s toughest industries."
There are supposedly two more doco-series coming to Channel Seven next year.
One will focus on Paul Hogan and the other will show us how Shane Warne got to where he is.
That'll be interesting...
In the meantime, though, let's celebrate the fact that Delta is coming back to acting!
