The Veronicas have taken to Twitter to call out a popular online website following an article written about the girls over the weekend.

Face it, if you know The Veronicas you know that Lisa and Jess Origliasso ALWAYS put others first, they constantly use their power to help others, make a difference and create awareness for many issues that we face in today’s society

So it came as no shock that once again over the weekend, the girls called out a website for their bizarre choice of article written about Jess. The article was written after Jess uploaded a very normal photo of herself on stage at the Northwest Festival in W.A.

We’re not sure why her outfit was such a big deal… it seems pretty normal… but apparently it was… and this is the perfect example as to why society needs to change.

Both of the girls took to Twitter to have their say about the article.

We all have a right to express ourselves the way we want to… we have the right to live the way we want to… and we have the right to be ourselves.

This year has already been a massive year for The Veronicas… they took over the charts with their number one single ‘In My Blood’ (which you can buy here), they have done appearance after appearance while traveling between L.A, London and Australia, but even with them being so busy, and facing each bump that comes their way, they still always put others first and and genuinely want to make a difference in the world.

Today, The Veronicas also announced that they will be doing a special show in Sydney for Sea Shepherd on September 3rd. You can get tickets here!

We are so lucky that we have artists like Lisa and Jess to look up to.
