MySpace. The days of emo fringes, teen angst songs for your profile, and top friends. We all had one of those profiles… and it turns out Taylor Swift did too.
Someone has found Tay Tay’s old account featuring MySpace-esque selfies and cringeworthy comments.
Apparently, this was Taylor’s first ever MySpace picture.
Featuring a classic slogan tee, a too-cool-for-school pout and 2000s side fringe.
Here’s a selfie Taylor took with two of her band members at the time.
We all recognise the high angle, over exposed, arms-in-the-shot features that defined digital camera selfies on MySpace.
Classic group photo.
We have all taken a photo like this with our friends, despite the horrible low-angle.
These photobooth filters though!
Long before the Instagram filter was a thing, these ones were all the rage.
Sultry and sepia.
Don't worry, our Taylor didn't forget the moody sepia filter.
The best kind of selfies in the MySpace age.
Apart from photos, someone has dug up a bunch of comments allegedly made by Taylor that are too good not to share.
Inside jokes no one else will understand.
"Haha f*** sewing machines.” Wot? We don’t understand. Doesn’t matter, we’re sure it was hilarious.
We have all been through this.
That one friend who uploads a photo with you looking gross just because they look good. We feel you, Tay Tay.
We’re not even sure about this one.
"Deep throated the lollipop” … Taylor, why didn’t this line make it into your song lyrics?
More inside jokes, featuring a movie quote.
Best. Line. Ever.
Talking about PROM.
Because prom/formal pictures were the most exciting ones to upload ever.
Oh, and here they are!
Check out that blue eyeliner and eyeshadow.
Is this another inside joke? Not too sure.
Oh, celebrities. They’re just like us.
