When Emma Watson was attending Brown University in the US we were all extremely jealous of the students who got to live the #unilife with her… but what was it really like?

Did everyone act casual? Did lecturers shout “10 points to Gryffindor!” when she answered a question correctly? Did Emma join study groups and go to parties or did she keep to herself?

Since graduating from the Ivy League school in 2014, we haven’t really seen many pictures or heard many stories.

According to stories posted on by her peers, Emma’s presence was pretty chill and although super giddy, everyone did their best to give her a regular college experience.

Her one rule seemed pretty fair -

She was just like anyone of us except her no-photo rule

The Tab has also reported that when attending Headington School in Oxford, students were apparently told they would receive “penalty points” if they lost their cool around her.

Of course, if you were friends with her you could speak to her, but no one was allowed to go up and ask for an autograph or anything.

But nobody ever dared to ask her for an autograph. I remember being told about it quite formally and was really scared of getting a penalty point. At the time it would have been so embarrassing.

We're so glad Emma wasn't interrupted too much during her studies because she's now become a UN ambassador and our absolute hero!
