All of Australia had flashbacks to 2003 this month, when Shannon Noll was arrested and things got out of hand very quickly.

The incident has since been invesitigated, turned over and had the spotlight shed upon it in every angle possible, because the Aussie public weren't going to have Shannon involved in another unfair situation (if you're one of the few who think he got robbed of the Australian Idol title... that's up to you to decide).

Warning: Video contains some coarse language.

Well, the plot has thickened, because good ol' Shannon Noll was just escorted off stage by two uniformed police officers at his gig at Queensland's Sandstone Point.

But it ain't what you think.

Shannon was belting out his hit 'What About Me?' when he closed off the song and two police officers came his way, to grab his hands and take him off stage.

This is how it all went down.

Shannon had the whole crowd thinking it was another Crazy Horse incident, but it turns out he had foiled the whole plan to take the pi** outta himself.

Only in STRAYA, right?
