Katy Perry literally just promoted the commercial that created her a lawsuit and it seems like she just doesn’t care?
Katy took to Twitter this morning to promote the first commercial for her 'CoverGirl Katy Kat Collection.' So maybe she isn’t too worried about the whole lawsuit thing?
The commercial features Katy showing off her new lipsticks and Katy Kat Eye mascaras. The line includes two lipsticks and 13 mascaras. She refers to the colours as as “very Perry black” and “very Perry blue.”
Just last week, the company Hard Candy came forward and sued the parent company of CoverGirl, Procter & Gamble. They are seeking trademark infringements as they they believe that the logo for Katy’s collection is very similar to Hard Candy’s design.
According TMZ, Hard Candy says it's had trademarks for over 10-years and the new Katy line is breaking that trademark, TMZ are also reporting that Hard Candy is seeing the heart in the middle as the big issue…
