It's no surprise that Heidi Klum is the Queen of all things Halloween but this year she may have to relinquish her title as people are seriously hating her 2016 efforts... despite it costing close to $12 MILLION!

The german beauty made her entrance into her annual Halloween party with an entourage of five look-alikes, who had LITERALLY been made up to replicate the Project Runway host. Complete with matching outfits, accessories and hair and make-up identical to Heidi.

However, the supermodel has found herself on the receiving end of criticism as people feel her efforts don't even come close to her costumes of the past.

What people may not know is that this costume may be Heidi's most expensive yet, as it rumoured to have cost almost $12 Million to produce! Sure beats our party shop packet costume...

The man behind Heidi and Co, Mike Marino, of Prosthetic Renaissance spoke to The Sun about the reason behind the extravagent expense.

“It was like doing Heidi five times”

A "master cast" of Heidi's face was taken, then a special mask was made for each of the girls chosen to appear as the supermodel.

“Anyone can actually be Heidi if they wear this mask. But, the eye shapes of each girl will show through. That I cannot change. There’s really only one Heidi, and her eyes tell it all!”

Despite the negative feelings that some have felt towards her choice of a costume this year, Mike was a fan of the concept.

“She didn’t drop the ball. People are hard on celebrities and have big expectations. They forget that it’s all fun in the end and Heidi always has it. She certainly surprised everyone with it, so I guess it turned out to be unpredictable. Which goes hand-in-hand with originality.”
