Nicole Kidman is Australian royalty.

After just killing every movie role she's ever had, she's become our shining star over in the United States.

But all of that may be about to change because something she said has got our friends over the pond REALLY mad.

In a nutshell, Nicole has said that it's about time that Americans start supporting Donald Trump.

In an interview with the BBC, she explained that the country should support their President, no matter who they are.

"He's now elected and we, as a country, need to support who's ever the president, because that's what the country is based on.

"However that happened, he's there and let's go."

The president-elect is a very touchy subject in the U.S as Nicole, who lives with her husband Keith Urban in Nashville, would already know.

She voted in the election as she has dual citizenship with Australia and the U.S (she was born in Hawaii) and people are now wondering whether her comments meant that Americans should just suck it up, or that they start improving the country themselves as Barack Obama has been mentioning since November.

Either way, the Americans are not happy and now Nicole may be facing a boycott because of her comments.

But some, believe that she has a point.
