Sitting down with TheFIX, fitness mogul Michelle Bridges has opened up about her relationship, motherhood, and new projects, revealing how her non-stop work lifestyle almost proved too much.
Michelle has a lot going on. She’s regularly working on The Biggest Loser and is a published author, not to mention a mother and fitness Queen.
Her latest book Make It Happen, however, has proven to be her biggest struggle.
Whilst recording the audiobook, Michelle revealed it was all too much:
"Within about the first ten minutes, I started thinking: For the first time in my life I might have to give up on something. I don't know if I can do this.
I honestly thought: I don't know if I'm going to get through this. It was really hard. And I was only up to page 13…with over 300 pages to do!"
Looks like we can all get overworked sometimes.
Thankfully, her partner Commando Steve is by her side, keeping her motivated:
"Last night Steve and I trained at quarter past seven at night – on a Sunday night. And that's the last thing you want to do on a Sunday night, but that's the only time we had because we had all the kids over the weekend.
"All I wanted to do was to sit on the couch and watch TV. It wasn't me that made it happen. It was Steve that made it happen. He's like, 'Come on, you know you want to train', and I'm like, 'No, I don't want to train… oh, okay.'"
Geez, not everyone can get someone working out on a Sunday night!
