Melania Trump reportedly won’t be joining her husband Donald Trump when he moves into the White House.
Instead, the future First Lady will remain in New York where her 10-year-old son Barron attends school. The pair will continue to live in Trump Tower.
President-elect Donald told reporters that Melania and Barron would join him in Washington "after he’s finished with school".
Donald’s communications director Jason Miller said, "There's obviously sensitivity to pulling their 10-year-old out of school in the middle of the school year. A more formal statement will be coming in the future."
Donald has confirmed that he will be moving into the White House after his January 20 inauguration.
The White House has been the residence of every US president since John Adams in 1800.
