As you should all be well aware of by now, Donald Trump has not been in the news of late for good reasons. At all.
From making regrettable comments on a Miss Universe winner, to disgusting leaked tapes wherein he discusses women in unforgiveable ways and the continual occurrence of him never seeming to answer the Presidential Debate questions that arise, it seems like the obvious decision to not vote yes to Trump.
In another instance where there’s going to be another black mark next to Trump’s name, news has circulated of the 70-year-old and his questionable appearance on a radio show back in 2004.
In his talks with the host Howard Stern, the Presidential candidate was recorded saying that the then 18-year-old Disney child star Lindsay Lohan was “deeply troubled” and therefore would “probably be great in bed.”
You can say that everyone is entitled to free speech, but this was not okay and neither are any of the other remarks Trump has been making on women for years.
Coming to Lindsay’s defence, her Freaky Friday co-star Jamie Lee Curtis (who played Lindsay’s mum) took to social media to SLAM Trump for his disgusting comments.
She wrote, “I am appalled… Lindsay needed help and guidance. Not your gross, lecherous, lewd commentary.”
Jamie’s FULL comment can be seen below.
Words matter and we need to realise the impact such comments can have on a person’s life. Don’t just shrug them off and say it’s just a joke, ever, because words can break you as badly as sticks and stones.
