Way back in 2010, Justin Bieber hit Aussie shores for the first time and fans lost their sh*t so hard that riot police had to be called.
Now, Justin’s long-time manager, Scooter Braun, has once again called out Sunrise for their lack of security. Speaking in a recent documentary Secret Lives From The Watchtower, Scooter revealed:
“We went to Australia, and we told the Australians at this Sunrise TV show that we were going to need more security, and they didn’t believe us, and then the kids rioted the streets."
At the time, Sunrise producer, Adam Boland, addressed their lack of judgment, telling News Limited:
“We had done big concerts almost every week for years and had never seen anything like it. It was a freak event that even scared the riot squad. Bieber was still on the rise at the time so we underestimated his fan base. It was a mistake we only made once."
Over 5000 fans showed up to the free outdoor concert causing the show to be cancelled and moved to an in-studio performance.
This then lead the 5000 Beliebers to run through the city to Channel 7 studios… and… a riot squad had to be called.
14 people needed ambulance assistance, and another eight were rushed to hospital.
