The people of the Internet have trolled the loveable Ellen Degeneres, calling her racist after a recent post of Usain Bolt.

Poor Ellen has been forced to defend herself after she received a lot of Twitter backlash following a meme she posted of her and Usain Bolt.

The iconic image of him smiling at the camera during his winning 100m men’s final sprint has done the rounds on the internet over the last couple of days, so Ellen decided to add a little bit of a twist.

The meme which was clearly Photoshopped, shows the talk show host on gold medalist, Usain’s back while he is running with the caption, “This is how I’m running errands from now on.

While some people saw the light-hearted side… others did not and Ellen was then instantly accused of racism and insensitivity by users.

Usain didn’t seem too fussed about the picture, he even re-tweeted it and he was a guest on The Ellen Show last season.

Ellen then took to Twitter to defend herself to her followers… not that she needed to.

We know she didn't mean any harm, people attack celebs for everything.
