Chris Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and has since been released after posting $250,000 bail.

Scoopla was on the scene as the world watched live-streamed footage of a 12-hour standoff with Police.

The 27-year-old singer was arrested and taken to Los Angeles country jail. He posted the $250,000 bail and was released late last night and will appear in court on September 20.

Chris’ attorney, Mark Geragos, tweeted that the singer “is out and well.” He continued, “The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy,” he wrote.

As Scoopla reported, the standoff began after a woman named Baylee Curran accused Chris of threatening her with a gun, as she admired a piece of jewelry in Chris’ house.

Baylee alleges that she was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement by Chris’ entourage but ran away before doing so.

She phoned the police and LAPD officer Tony Im commented that the caller was “somebody screaming and asking for help.

Police soon arrived at Chris’ LA mansion, but the singer demanded they obtain a search warrant before entering the house. While inside he posted videos to fans on Instagram, that have since been deleted.

Eventually, police gained entry to the house and Chris was arrested.

Chris Brown’s friend Ray J, who was inside the house as the drama unfolded, posted this video on Instagram, claiming that what has been reported is not what really went down.
