French authorities have laid charges against four people suspected of being involved in the robbery of celeb Kim Kardashian in Paris last year.
It's expected more suspects will be charged in the coming days, the Paris prosecutors' office said in a statement.
It will be alleged the group, aged between 27 and 64 - are part of an organised crime gang, facing counts of kidnapping and armed robbery.
Police have spent the week interviewing 17 suspects, including a chauffeur who drove the reality TV star around Paris in the days before the robbery.
Just under $13 million AUD of jewellery was stolen from Kardashian on October 3, when thieves wearing balaclavas and police jackets burst into a luxury property she was residing at for Paris Fashion Week.
They tied her up at gunpoint before making off on bicycles with the stash, including her engagement ring.
