If you’ve got some old Disney movies on VHS sitting in a corner getting dusty you might want to listen up.

People are reportedly raking in a fortune for their classic Disney videos by selling them on eBay. One copy of Beauty and the Beast went for a cool $US9,000, and people are now hoping to replicate that success by putting their old VHS collections up for auction.

Here’s the thing. Although people are most definitely trying to sell their videos for outrageous prices on eBay, they aren’t necessarily getting bought by anyone. A lot of the auctions attract zero bids, and there are other people selling their old videos for bargain prices.

But who knows? Maybe you’ll get lucky and strike it rich off your old Beauty and the Beast tape!
