Whether you loved it, hated it, or secretly obsessed over it from behind closed doors, the Twilight series took over the world when they came front and centre and graced our film screens.

We all fell in love, cringed and laughed our way through the five films, only to have all our hearts break a little bit when the whole shebang came to an end.

We had hope that there would be another film, somewhere and somehow, but our leading lady Kristen Stewart tore that hope apart when she removed herself from any prospect of a future project a few years ago.

In a recent interview with the Press Association, she said, "We kind of finished the series. We made five movies. I think we kind of did it justice."

We were sadder than Jacob when he knew he had zero chance with Bella.

But, much like the mood swings and mind changes of Bella Swan herself, Kristen Stewart has done a complete 180 and BE STILL YOUR BEATING HEARTS.

Kristen was also asked another question, as to whether she would ever reprise her role as Bella if Stephenie Meyer were to write a follow-up novel.

Lo and behold, here was her answer:

"I would definitely be the first to read it, yeah."

Stephenie, we're calling on you to make this happen.

We wonder where a follow-up story could lead!

Would YOU love to see the cast return?
