If there's one thing we love, it's a good film connection.

Knowing that our favourite characters are connected in a whole new world somehow makes us feel comforted and makes us feel a little more sane about watching these movies over and over again.

Disney have had a few theories about their iconic characters over the last few years.

People believe that the shipwreck that Ariel inspects in The Little Mermaid actually belongs to the parents of Anna and Elsa, the princesses in Frozen

This theory suggests that the ship sank in the North Sea between Norway and Denmark, where both films are supposedly set.

But this new theory may just blow that one out of the water (geddit?!).

Chris Buck, the director of Frozen and Tarzan revealed to MTV News that Tarzan is actually related to Anna and Elsa!

"Of course, Anna and Elsa's parents didn't die.

"Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy.

"They get shipwrecked, and somehow they really washed way far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle.

"They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas.

"So in my little head, Anna and Elsa's brother is Tarzan.

"That's my fun little world."

So in his eyes, the ship itself may have sank, but the Queen of Arendell could have given birth to Tarzan on a life boat.

The theory definitely sounds plausible, with the life boat potentially just floating south towards Africa.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a movie that just tells us whether or not all of these theories are actually true?
