Of late, it seems like the Australian film and television industry has been pumping a hella lot of money into reality shows… hello The Bachelor/The Bachelorette/Masterchef

We know a lot of you enjoy the chaos that each of those drama-fests delivers each night, but we’re about to open your eyes up to the Hollywood-quality films Australia creates which will make you never question how darn awesome our films can be!

Considering Halloween is just around the corner, Australia’s new horror/drama/thriller film Boys in the Trees is going to be your number one choice of things to do on October 31st .

The film centres on “Two estranged teens begrudgingly find themselves walking home together on Halloween 1997, embarking on a surreal journey through their memories, dreams and fears.”

Boys in the Trees will see the Aussie talents of the hot, up and coming cast, including Justin Holborow, Tobey Wallace, Gulliver McGrath and Mitzi Ruhlmann, thrust on to a much deserved world stage, as the film has been selected for the 2016 TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival)!

Take a look to see what all the fuss is about!

Boys in the Trees will be out in Australian cinemas October 20.
