No one can figure out why Finding Dory wasn’t nominated for Best Animated Feature Film and as expected there’s been appropriate public outrage in the lead-up.

The Golden Globes will take place on Monday and while we all cannot wait to see the first big show of the awards season, one category has us all perplexed.

Here are the nominees for Best Animated Feature Film -

- Kubi and the Two Strings

- Moana

- My Life as a Zucchini

- Sing

- Zootopia

We are confused.

Yes, we know that just because Pixar has won 16 Academy Awards and seven Golden Globes, that doesn’t automatically mean they will receive a nomination every year that they release a film… but people are a little confused about the films that were deemed more worthy of a nomination.

Finding Dory became one of the 50 highest-grossing films of all time and had some state of the art animation, so being left out was certainly surprising.

Even if Finding Dory was nominated, though, we all know who should win…
