Disney is the realm where all our childhood dreams can come true.

Except when, you know, they decide to kill of one off our beloved characters and leave us crying for hours upon hours.

We suppose that’s how Disney teaches us the hard lessons of life while thrusting us into weird and wonderful worlds.

But when it comes to the tough stuff, there are three things they are never allowed to depict.

According to David Lowery, the genius director behind the recent Disney flick Pete’s Dragon, the company draws a line when it comes to:

This one’s a new rule, because we’ve seen Maleficent and Ursula both impaled in the past.

Considering the amount of live-action remakes of Disney classics that are happening, it’s probably a good thing they made this a rule.

Disney flicks don’t replicate the world of Game of Thrones, so you’re not going to see any beheading. Ever. Coz it ain’t pretty and we don’t want to scar children for life.

Which must be a no-brainer, because could you imagine the trouble they would get into for featuring such an unhealthy and dangerous habit?!

However, there have been a few instances where smoking was depicted and it was only by the villains of the films… which is projecting a clear message to the youngsters.

It wasn't stated, but it’s obvious that sex is going to be a big NO NO when it comes to Disney films.
