Remember when Ryan Reynolds played Hal Jordan aka The Green Lantern?
It was his first superhero movie role and it wasn't exactly his favourite.
The actor has joked about his Green Lantern film many times, even in his second superhero film Deadpool, so he obviously gets how much of a flop it was.
But despite its box office flaws, it did bring Blake Lively into his life and now they're happily married and have the most beautiful children.
But it looks like DC just isn't done with The Green Lantern.
The company want to bring the hero back in a new film and want Ryan to come along for the ride.
The new film is called Green Lantern Corps and according to The Wrap, the movie is due to be released in 2020.
DC do have other actors up for the lead role, with Tom Cruise, Joel McHale, Bradley Cooper, Armie Hammer, and Jake Gyllenhaal all on the shortlist, but apparently their first choice is still Ryan.
But with the success of Deadpool, will he even want to come back?
Ryan has been campaigning for our new red-faced hero to receive an Oscar and there's even speculation that Hugh Jackman will make a cameo in the sequel.
So with things looking so damn good for Deadpool, would it be worth venturing back into Green Lantern's world?
Ryan hasn't said whether or not he's interested yet, so we must wait until the main man speaks before we jump to conclusions.
