While Uber has become pretty damn popular lately, the company has been warning its users before the party season.
Yesterday the Uber app was updated to warn riders that behaving well and being friendly are actually a must.
The Uber driver can refuse to drive riders who make racist and sexist remarks, or those who deliberately damage their vehicles.
This also includes physical contact with the driver and well, getting it on in the car.
While the service is known for being cheap, they take these actions very seriously. If you do any of these things it may result in you being completely banned for life from the service.
Uber's Australia New Zealand general manager David Rohrsheim said, "We know it's a great time of year to let the hair down and enjoy a few drinks, and we just ask riders to keep this in mind so everyone can have a five-star ride this festive season."
David continued, "While we find most riders are great, we've seen the odd instance of rude, inappropriate or abusive behaviour, and we're making it clear to riders this is not on."
So guys remember, be nice and play nice!
