We all like to think we’re tough and not scared of anything, but the truth is that we will probably jump through the roof if we hear anything go bump in the night.
Which has made this story of a 300-year-old corpse opening it’s freakin’ eyes a helluva lot freakier.
If you travel to Mexico, there’s an old Cathedral in Jalisco where the remains of a young child saint (Saint Innocence) are kept.
The actual story is horrifyingly devastating: The legend goes… the young girl was denied by her father from taking her First Communion, but a group of nuns from her school included her in the ceremony regardless. When her father found out, he tragically killed her…
Locals then returned her body to the Cathedral and wax-treated her body to preserve her remains, and lay her to rest in peace as a symbol of the girls innocence and love from god.
The scare-fest has come about after a group of tourists visited the Cathedral of Guadalajara and filmed footage of the little girl opening her eyelids.
The video was captured a few months back but is trending once again, sending everyone into chaos.
Many believe this is just a hoax, while others think this could be a sign of sorts.
One thing’s for sure: we aren’t sleeping tonight…
