We've all dreamed about the day we will get to say 'I do' to the love our our life in a magical wedding ceremony...
But a lot of us have probably wondered when exactly is the right time to get married and settle down? (Not that we really ever settle down, because we're embarking on a new and exciting chapter in our lives!)
Well, a study has just been released that reveals the ideal age we should be getting married.
Sociologist Nick Wolfinger, from the University of Utah, has had his research published by the Institute of Family Studies, with his findings revealing that those who get married between the ages of 28 and 32 are less likely to call it quits.
Society has always thought you should wait longer to tie the knot, but it turns out that it ain't true!
Nick explained, "The odds of divorce decline as you age away from your teenage years through your late twenties and early thirties. Thereafter, the chances of divorce go up again as you move into your late thirties and early forties.
"The kinds of people who wait until their thirties to get married may be the kinds of people who aren't predisposed toward doing well in their marriages."
You can imagine how frustrating it would be to be in a relationship and for one partner to wait years and years to propose, thinking they'll be better off.
"People who marry later face a pool of potential spouses that has been winnowed down to exclude the individuals most predisposed to suceed at matrimony."
Top tip: Don't put it off for yonks if that guy or gal is THE ONE.
