All parents- to-be have those secret fears and anxieties when it come's to the appearance of their newborns. Shameful to admit but we want the most perfect looking baby to emerge... isn't that right!
We think that having a slighter bigger than average head is always good, means more room to store more information right!? Well, as it turns out that theory isn't as silly as it sounds!
UK charity Biobank has conducted an in-depth study, revealing some very fascinating results to do with a child's brain volume, head circumference and how it relates to their levels of intelligence!
Basically, the study concluded that the bigger the head of a baby , the brighter a child is! Winning! The study had been done on more than half a MILLION babies! Samples from 100,000 British participants aged between 37 and 73 years and asked for blood, urine , and saliva samples to come up with conclusive results.
According to the researchers the aim of the study was to " Document the long term links between genes, physical and mental health and well-being. Specifically, UK Biobank hopes to discover how DNA impacts on cognitive brain function."
There you go you big headed beauties!
