Instagram is the dream land of all things glorious and out-of-this-world, and allows us to be whoever we choose to make ourselves out to be.
We have all drooled over the hundreds of travel pics we have double tapped, wishing we were there in those phenomenal places.
You’ve got to give some serious cred to the photographers who are able to deliver us with a serious dose of wanderlust and transport us to a better place!
So it comes as sad news that one of the very photographers who makes us want to travel the world has tragically passed away trying to get the perfect shot.
25-year-old Christopher Serrano, who hails from Brooklyn, was reportedly trying to ride on top of a train this week, according to NYPD.
Christopher was on the train to Coney Island with a female friend when he scaled the outside of the train in the very early hours of the morning, and it is suspected that his body was clipped by something and resulted in him falling from the fast-moving train.
Christopher’s body was soon recovered from the tracks.
His family and friends have since outpoured their heartache and love for Christopher in emotional posts and his brother has spread the details of Chris’ wake to help support their family at this time.
Our thoughts and love are with Christopher’s family and friends at this harrowing time.
