A study conducted at Washington State University last year by Professor Min Du, concluded that wine and weight loss are actually a very compatible mix and that a glass of red wine at night can actually HELP weight loss!
How have we not known this!?
According to the study what happens when you have a glass of wine at night is that the compound found in red wine converts "white fat" into "beige fat".
"Many of the beneficial polyphenols are insoluble and get filtered out during the wine production process," said Professor Min Du, who also suggested that as an alternative to red wine blueberries, grapes and strwberries as better alternatives to help long-term weight loss.
