So, America elected a new President, Bella Hadid and The Weeknd split up and 'Honey', Melbourne Zoo's bear, passed away.

It's pretty clear that this week has dragged our emotions all over the place and now, we're really feeling it. 

It's Friday, meaning after today, we all have the chance to switch off and recharge.

If you're not really sure how to do that, we have compiled a list of incredibly relaxing activites that will make you feel amazing and fully ready for what next week has instore for you.

1. Have A Bubble Bath... With A Glass Of Wine


This is probably the most obvious choice because everyone knows that a hot bubble bath soothes the soul.

Set up some of your favourite scented candles around your tub, turn on some tunes and soak for about an hour whilst all of your weekly worries wash away. 

If you're afraid you'll fall asleep during his peaceful time, turn on your favourite movie instead and giggle your way to happiness.

2. Binge Watch Your Favourite Show.. Whilst Drinking A Glass Of Wine


Speaking of movies and all that jazz, binge watching your favourite show this weekend would most definitely ease your mind.

Whether it's a hilarious comedy, a sweet romance or a devistating drama, letting your emotions out to your favourite film or tv show will feel like the most cathardic thing in the world.

3. Get Some Vitamin D In You..And Take A Bottle Of Wine


Getting some rays is very healthy for you, but just make sure you don't get too much. 

With summer just around the corner, nothing is better than a nice walk in the sunshine, a picnic in the park or swim at the beach.

Breathing in that fresh air will make you feel fantastic, but don't forget your sunscreen.

4. See Your Girlfriends.. And Share A Bottle Of Wine


One of the best things you can do to take your mind off your woes is hang out with your best friends.

They're there for you when you need to vent, when you need a hug and when you know you need to just dance your butt off.

Friends will save you. It's just a fact.

5.  Dance To Your Favourite Music.. Whilst Trying Not To Spill Your Wine


Sometimes you just need to make like Cameron Diaz in the holiday and belt out 'Mr. Brightside'.

Music heals all and whether you choose to dance along, sing along or just sit silently as the melody washes over you, it'll help. We promise.
