Instagram can be used for either good or evil, depending whose hand the account is in.

Unfortunately, one Insta fitness model has come under unfair scrutiny from online trolls recently for her body transformation, and the reason they are spreading the hate has everyone appalled.

Courtney Black, an online sensation for the fitness inspiration she continually shares with her followers and fans, posted to Instagram to show the transformation she has undergone in recent years after her struggle with an eating disorder.

She explained how she used to wake up at 5am every morning to go to the gym before work, running a minimum of 8 miles and doing excessive amounts of abdominal exercises.

Courtney would then go to the gym again at lunchtime, would skip dinner and had a very poor diet, thinking she wasn't skinny enough.

Now, the 20-year-old is living a very healthy lifestyle, but online haters have taken to the app to say, "This is really sad, she looked so much better before," in her anorexic state.

Courtney has refused to let the hate get to her and is using her inner strength and the support of family and fans to focus her efforts on her inspiring career.

The stunner told The Star, "It can be hurtful when people tell me that I looked better in my before photo when I was dangerously underweight with my bones visible.

"Of course I get upset sometimes about what people say. But I know that to keep motivated and help others, I can't let the online bullies stop me."

She also touched on the tough time she had in stepping away from her old habits, saying, "At first, it was a slow process as I was scared of certain foods and it was terrifying to see how I was putting on weight.

"But as I got over my fears, I slowly reduced the excessive amount of cardio exercise that I was doing, began to introduce carbs into my diet and upped my calories.

"Striving to be skinny is in no way maintainable or good for you. I’ve embraced my curves now and realise how attractive they are."

We think you look gorgeous Courtney, and we're super proud of the progress you've made towards a healthy lifestyle and the battle you went through!
