We’ve been told for years that dogs are mankind’s best friends and every time we get home and they come bounding down the hallway to see us proves they’ve got nothing but LOVE for us.
Unless they’re Cujo… then you better start running the other way if they start bounding towards you.
Thankfully most of us don’t have Cujo for a pet.
To further prove just how darn much our dogs love us, a Harvard psychologist has just explained a very important and cute AF difference in dogs dreaming habits to our own, which has the internet going wild.
Dr. Deirdre Barrett spoke to People Magazine, explaining:
“Humans dream about the same things they’re interested in by day, though more visually and less logically. There’s no reason to think animals are any different.
"Since dogs are generally extremely attached to their human owners, it’s likely your dog is dreaming of your face, your smell and of pleasing or annoying you.”
… OMFG. Does a more perfect being even exist?!
As to be expected, everyone can’t help but feel incredibly touched by the whole explanation and they’re sharing their love across the ‘net!
Our love for our best friend just increased tenfold…
