Theme park enthusiast’s worst nightmares came true yesterday when they trekked to Sea World and squealed their way around a rollercoaster… because they all got stuck in their carriage at the top of it, when the ride suddenly broke down.
If this doesn’t sound like some Final Destination type sh** then we don’t know what does…
Sea World’s Storm Coaster was thought to have broken down due to some dangerously high winds rushing through the Gold Coast.
Park staff tried their best to calm passengers, who were mainly teens and kids thanks the packed school holiday period, and eight people were trapped on the coaster.
In true Aussie spirit, everyone remained calm and the best efforts were made to get the passengers safely off the ride amidst the high wind conditions.
Thankfully everyone is a-okay, and we’re sure they sprinted off to another ride, or at least to see the dolphins, soon after the ordeal.
Come on... with the day they had, the dolphin shows totes could have turned into some freaky Jurassic World nightmare...
