Andy Lee aimed to surprise his nephew George with a book for his first birthday – but he’s got all our hearts with this super spesh project.

Andy worked with illustrator Health McKenzie for five months to get the project out in time for George’s first birthday – a book called “Do Not Open This Book”.

He lured his sister and George into a Melbourne bookstore and surprised the pair with his first ever children’s book. (You can buy the book HERE)

The book has been so popular that it has sold approximately 40,000 copies since it was announced on Wednesday – and it even managed to temporarily crash the website of publisher Lake Press.

We’d call that a roaring success!
