Guys, we don’t want to alarm anyone but a Black Moon is rising.
Don’t freak out, it’s totally natural… but it’s also pretty rare.
The last Black Moon was in March 2014 and if you don’t really know WTF a Black Moon is, you’re not alone…
But thankfully the Internet has definitions.
Bless you Google.
It turns out that the term Black Moon has several definitions, but one of the most common is the second new moon in a calendar month. Which is similar to the Blue Moon, which is the second full moon in a calendar month.
But sadly, like other new moons, black moons aren’t usually visible. Hence the name. But, in saying that it’s the perfect timing for stargazing because the moon is pretty dark during a Black Moon
Let’s say moon one more time. MOON.
Before you get super excited, this Black Moon will only occur at 8:11 p.m. ET on Friday in the Western Hemisphere.
Yeah lol so not near us. Unless you wanna jump on a international flight.
But we don’t have long to wait according to AccuWeather, we will get our own Black Moon at the end of October.
Black Moon, we will wait for you.
