We've all had those days where we just can't seem to swallow broccoli, brussel sprouts or a decent potato.
Eating veges is essential for a healthy diet, but unfortunately some vegetables just don't taste as good as others.
Luckily for us, science has stepped in and invented a new spoon that will save the bland tasting vege problem once and for all!
Professor Adrian Cheok, of the University of London, has invented a new spoon that makes your food taste a lot sweeter.
The spoon is called the Taste Buddy and it uses a microship to emit a low-level electrical current that affects your taste buds.
Your tongue will then start to taste sweet and salty flavours that are actually non-existent and transform your bitter snacks into sweet treats!
The spoon prototype is currently in development, but there is a possibility for the microchip to be inserted into other cutlery as well.
The professor explained that “The Taste Buddy could eventually help save lives, by allowing people to switch to healthier food choices" and help vegetarians who miss the taste of meat.
Would it be weird if we used this chip to make all of our food taste like ice cream?
