This is a sad day for us all.

Reuters has reported that confectionary giant Mars, aka the people who create M&Ms, might soon stop allowing McDonalds to use M&Ms in their McFlurries.

The reason? They think McFlurries are too “sugary and unhealthy”.

We know, we know… That’s pretty rich coming from a company that almost exclusively makes chocolate and lollies, but their philosophy is that their products should be consumed and enjoyed in moderation, and the McFlurry goes against this.

The M&M ban is not a done deal yet, although according to Reuters, “[Mars] has promised publicly to limit sugar in all of its products to match guidelines from the world's leading health authorities.”
